I was very disappointed with this book. It mainly concentrated on the basics and not enough on the technical aspects. I would not recommend this book for anyone that already has 6 months to 1 yrs worth of experience, you most likely already possess this knowledge. I bought the book because it had a section that discussed performance tuning, again this section only captured the basics. If you are a beginner this book is excellent and does present examples that are very well explained.
