Excellent introduction to Python that gives you just enough of an intro to make you want more.
For whatever reason, Safari Books Online didn't include the Writing Scripts video (which comes after the Modules and Packages video--see Wrap Up video for full listings), so it is incomplete, but that is not the author's fault.

If you are a beginner to python this is a great video to help you kick off the ground. Though it is not exhaustive the concepts are presented in a very lucid manner. This will prove to be a good platform on which one can get to higher grounds of python.
