I have Barbara Brundage's The Missing Manual, well thumbed, but this is the book I'll be turning to most often. Not nearly as techy, basic English, step-by-step instructions, good illustrations without going into much detail as to how Photoshop works. I've had my program for two or more years, use it casually, but am always trying to improve my pictures. This will do the job. Thank you, Mr. Kelby!

This book is exactly what I was looking for. It skips all the boring explanations of the program and goes right to what you want to do. So, if you want to reduce darck circles under the eyes, it give you a few simple steps and BOOM you're done! The steps are super easy and I'm so grateful to have found a book that gives me exactly what I need. Thank you!

I will give the Photoshop content in this book high marks. Unfortunately, the author also has the ambition to be a comedian and uses this book as a vehicle to spread his message of humor. I see nothing wrong with a "little" fun being placed here and there to break up the boredom that can creep into books like this, but this is waaaaayyyyyy over done, and it's pretty lame humor at that in most cases.
Buyer be warned.

This book as exact step by step dummy proof instructions for photoshop elements. I have Elements 7 and with minor changes to the E 7 program, this book can still help you with anything you may need. If only they could put out HELP guides as fast as the programs!
