I skipped the chapters on assembly language and Forth. The rest of the book helped me bridge from Physics I learned in college to some basic electronic design. The circuit examples were useful real world examples of real circuits or parts of complete designs, instead of the monster circuit problems from college Physics class, where they want make sure you really understand the Physics. Now I can begin to design my own embedded hardware.
