And helps the advanced IT/Computer Guru not overlook the simple things first, which we all do at times.
Well written, non condescending and not over the head of the newbie, but informative and helpful as a guide.
I keep it on my bookshelf as a primary reference, and if you work with Windows XP as a user/power user/tekky at all, you should too.

Bought this book with the intent of being an information technology student. I had to quit college. I will be selling this book later. I can't give a review because I never read it.

Great Book! I think this book was written not for the beginner but for a more experienced computer user. Some things are simple to understand but others are very detailed. Still, this book can be a big help to anyone that has XP for their running system.

Good book, but not everything is included. There is absolutley nothing on EFS (File Encrytion) which is fairly important. Four stars that could of been Five!
