This section assumes that you have a bidirectional or N-way replication environment that allows multiple databases to modify the same data at the same time.
In most cases of unidirectional Streams replication, no changes are expected at the destination tables. However, if changes are made to destination tables, the conflicting data could cause the apply process to report an error. If such conflicts are not resolved automatically using conflict handlers, then those conflicts will be written to the apply error queue. The entire transaction will be written to the error queue, and not just the LCR that encountered the error. Resolving apply errors is discussed in Chapter 12.
