by Clare Churcher
This book brings all of the elements of database design together in
a single volume, saving the reader the time and expense of making
multiple purchases. It consolidates both introductory and advanced

databases.
The proposed book expertly combines the finest database design
material from the Morgan Kaufmann portfolio. Individual chapters

This is a compendium of chapters taken from several (generally excellent) books. Each chapter is good in itself, but they do not tell a coherent story about the topic of database design. For example, the notation used varies considerably from chapter to chapter. You would do better to buy a book written as a unity.
