In short, I dont like the very textbook feel of it, which is very different from most other NLP books that provide plenty of examples and cases that the readers can easily apply to various situations. If you want to read some high level and scholarly discussion, this one may fit you well. However, if you want to have something handy but immediately helpful, please give this a pass.
