Find something interesting on the Web that you’d like to share with your Facebook friends? It’s easy enough to do by simply “liking” the page.
When you’re visiting another website or blog, look for the Facebook button. This might be a simple Facebook logo in some sort of “sharing” section or a more clear-cut Facebook Like, Facebook Recommend, or Share on Facebook button, like the one shown in Figure 24.1. Click this button to share the item you’re reading.

Often you are prompted to add a comment about the item. This might be in the form of a pop-up comments box, like the one in Figure 24.2, or in a separate Facebook window, like the one in Figure 24.3. (You might also be prompted to supply your Facebook login information, if you haven’t yet linked this site to your Facebook account.) Enter your comment and click the Share Link or Post to Facebook button to post a link to this item as a status update on Facebook, as shown in Figure 24.4.
