Mac OS X Leopard Killer Tips
by Scott Kelby; Dave Gales

This is the Safari online edition of the printed book.

With so many books out there on Mac OS X Leopard, what makes this one better and different is its focus. While other Leopard books can regularly be 500-plus pages, this book cuts through all the technical jargon and gives you exactly what you want: the most important, most requested, and just plain coolest things about Leopard that will change the way you work on your Mac. With Leopard's newest features, this book will show you how to customize your workspace with Spaces, search and view your files fast with Quick Look, restore any file on your system with Time Machine, and much more. Each page covers just one topic, complete with full-color photos and screenshots, making it easy to find what you're looking for fast.

I found this book friendly and easy to understand. I use my Mac for personal use. Even thou Leopard was not new to me, there was some information in this little book that was still a help to me and a good reference book to keep handy. I was surprised that this "used" book was actually like new. I will be looking at Amazon for any books, etc that I need in the future. They have a good selection.

I have several Scott Kelby books and I love them all. This book will get you using the imac quickly. As the author writes it is not an intense manual on any one feature. Once your up and running you can decide which other more intense single subject books you require for your particular needs. Given the screen shots on each page I can even read the book away from my computer and still follow along. Highly recommended.

The Mac OS X Leopard Book
Not only does it have all the BASIC information, the author Scott Kelly makes the reading very interesting (and funny at times). The best part of this book is that it gets right to the point of what you need to do in order to perform a certain task without getting a headache trying to figure out what you just read. A "must have" reference book for ALL Mac owners.

I really like this book. I knew nothing about Mac when I started. The pictures, followed with the captions, make it so easy to navigate through your Mac. The book is so easily broke down into sections as well so if you need to know something right away you can go to that chapter. I highly recommend this book.
