In his internationally acclaimed, best-selling book
Presentation Zen: Simple Ideas on Presentation Design and
Delivery, presentation master Garr Reynolds gave readers the

presentations. Now, he takes us further into the design realm and
shows how we can apply time-honored design principles to
presentation layouts.
Throughout Presentation Zen Design, Garr shares his lessons
on designing effective presentations that contain text, graphs,
color, images, and video. After establishing guidelines for each of
the various elements, he explains how to achieve an overall harmony
and balance using the tenets of Zen simplicity. Not only will you

presentations, you’ll learn to communicate more clearly and
will accomplish the goal of making a stronger, more lasting

I'm a huge fan of Garr Reynolds' books. In 'Presentation Zen Design' he gives great practical advice on each aspect of presentation design. This is a great overview for those who, like me, are not professional designers but still need to be aware of design principles that are important in preparing presentations.
It's worth reading 'Presentation Zen' before moving on to this book; this represents a clear logical progression from 'Presentation Zen', which is at a broader conceptual level.
Clear, concise, and well-formatted for Safari.

Brimming with good ideas and good practice. Read it if only for the insights and descriptions of Japanese culture and design.

This book is quite comprehensive and is just perfect for where i am right now. I've been doing presentations for several years now and am ready to go to this next level. it is a bit 'techy' for the average PowerPoint user, but it fits right in with the certificate in multimedia and web development I'm taking now.
