The book is very poorly written. The examples are not complete and don't work. They have incorrect syntax on at least two examples. There is some basic information about data mining presented in a very "I'm smarter than you are" type of way. It really wasn't much of a tutorial or an instructional book. I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish but I didn't get much out of it. You'd be better off reading books online.
