Search E-mail

As you accumulate messages, you may want to be able to find messages that contain information or attachments you need. You can use the Mail Search tool to quickly find important messages.

One of the best ways to be able to find e-mail is to keep it organized. A little time spent organizing e-mail earlier prevents some of the effort to find it later. For more information, see the section “Organize E-mail.”

Search E-mail

Type the information for which you want to search in the Search bar.

• As you type, Mail presents messages that meet your search in the lower pane.

To read a message, select it.

• The message opens in the reading pane that appears at the bottom of the window.
