The inherent goal of many (mobile) Web 2.0 social networking applications is to let users share private information with the rest of the world or with a group of other people. Privacy on this level can be controlled by the user, that is, by consciously deciding what kind of information they want to share with others. When making a decision of what to share and what not to share, one should not only think about the immediate implications of sharing private thoughts, ideas and so on, but also about what happens to this information over time. Everything that is shared publicly will remain on the Internet for an indefinite time and can be found via search engines such as Google and Yahoo by anyone and not only by those for whom the information....
