Chapter 8
Editing Word-Processing Documents on Mac
In This Chapter
Presenting paragraphs
Decorating pages with headers and footers
Organizing documents with sections
Taking control of a word-processing document
In Chapter 6, you can see how to create Pages documents — both word-processing and page layout types of documents. When you find yourself looking at a blank word-processing document or a document based on a template, this chapter tells you what to do next.
Word-processing documents exist only in Pages for Mac. On iOS, the functionality is provided by text boxes in page layout documents. However, if you move a word-processing document to an iOS device using iCloud, e-mail, or iWork.com, you’ll see that the document works just fine. Some of the text document features aren’t supported on iOS, but your text and styles are just fine. For these reasons, this chapter focuses on Mac OS.
