I purchased this book on Photoshop Elements 6 in order to answer questions from my students. I have found the information thorough and well written. Barbara Brundage has made a valuable contribution in providing a comprehensive reference book for those who use Photoshop Elements. Each tool and dialog box is explained so that a novice can get started with the program. Techniques such as image sharpening, retouching and adding special effects will help the new user produce outstanding images. For me the important thing was to be able to answer a student's questions accurately and this book has exceeded my expectations. Its index helps me find the information I need quickly. The explanations are easy to understand, but those who prefer the step by step method of learning can skip through the details and follow the steps.
