I received the book yesterday, having installed Snow leopard two weeks ago. Fact 1: RTFM. My installation was dreadful. Following this text would have forewarned me and would have made the changeover from 10.4 a doddle. Still, here we go. The 'hands on' descriptors have already enabled me to reconfigure my desktop and and existing files. Now to master Time Machine.
Thank you. The clarity of the text and its simplicity have made a difference to my style already.
