Whether you're aiming for YouTube videos or Hollywood-style epics, you need what Premiere Elements can't provide: crystal-clear guidance and real world know-how. This Missing Manual delivers. Packed with great ideas on how to spiff up your footage, this book helps you avoid the dreaded Help! I Never Do Anything With My Video syndrome. Premiere expert Chris Grover combines a touch of humor with insights, tips, and tricks culled from years of moviemaking experience to help you release your inner Scorsese.

Like all the other books in the Missing Manual series this is a must have for me and my employees. Even with our vast experience in Website Design and Audio/Visual production we constantly find ourselves referencing these easy to use Missing Manual books and now we have Premiere Elements to add to our collection. Even as a professional editor with over 30 years experience and well versed in Final Cut Pro, I find this book simplifies every step for a comprehensive understanding of using motion picture, animation and graphics not only for our own family home movies but more importantly for our business needs. We work primarily in Mac but because we are constantly creating websites for our clients we need to understand and create for PC and these Missing Manual books have been a life saver. Bravo!

This book is extensive and there is a lot of writing however it is difficult to actually follow what it says or get a way to do the more complicated tasks. There are too many references to other parts of the book which often are not helpful either. I have used multiple editions of Elements and wanted a book to show the specific use of newer items in version 8. This is weak on instruction and long on words. It tries to be witty when useful is what is needed.
