This book is not for people who are unfamiliar with Microsoft Office, nor those inexperienced with self study. It does not teach you the absolute basics. It contains all the information on the exams, not a drop more or less. If you spend time with this book, practice the things it teaches you, and really focus, this is all you'll need for the MCAS and probably even MOS certifications.

You have to go in knowing the 2007 Office System already. The instructions are clear and precise. I think of this book as Microsoft Office 2007 Boot Camp in a book. If you want to learn about Office 2007 applications this book is not for you.
An excellent resource for rounding out your knowledge in order to take the test or to learn some of the more discreet operations that you can perform within the Office.
