Dont buy digital version - 2009-08-25

This book has solid content and realistic CCNA questions. However, do NOT buy the digital version as I have (on my iphone using the Kindle app). In the digital version, half of the questions are cut off at the bottom of the page. Be sure to just by the hard copy or use an "actual" kindle.

OK Book, Bad Test Engine with Poor Support - 2009-07-21

IMHO, this book itself is OK for the price, but the test engine is not good.

Some answers are correct in the book, but the same questions in the test has incorrect answers as correct.

Most frustrating is the simulator. One question asking you to configure two switches. I can configure the first switch, but I cannot figure out how to then connect to the second switch to configure it. Exit and ? show as invalid commands. Ridiculous!

Tech support from MeasureUP is very poor. Phone them and you have to leave a message. Can't even get into a queue to wait. Chat support, nobody home!

I will probably not buy any more books affiliated with MeasureUp.

This book covered all areas of the CCNA exam. The questions were an excellent review and the explanations of the correct and incorrect answers helped identify the areas requiring more study.

Good way to study and prepare for the exam - 2009-07-13

Although I failed on my first attempt, I still give this book high ratings. It's a great way to study and the included CD is very helpful because it gives you a lot of practice on pacing yourself and preparing yourself for answering a lot of RANDOM questions for 90 minutes.

Now that I know how the CCNA exam is given, they should integrate a simulator for questions on their practice exams too. That's really the only thing missing from their practice questions.

I fail the 640-822 test by using the exam questions in this book. The cisco test is very different and I can't seem to find a single question that I study from this book on the actual exam. I would recommend using other sources. THis is a waste of my hard earn money.
