This book is a must-read for any email marketer. I passed it to my web and publishing team to give them a sense of the current trends and environment. Doesn't hurt that Simms is a really nice guy!

Jenkins' book is a simple, straightforward, to-the-point narrative that is a must-read for email marketing veterans and newcomers to the industry alike. Broken up into easy-to-digest segments, "Truths" offers the reader the ability to focus on one or two ideas at a time, providing the information needed to earn buy-in at the C level or just simply get a download if you're new to the game.

A great book. A must-read. I highly recommend this. I pull it out at least once a week for review of concepts.

The Truth About Email Marketing is a Must-Read for marketing executives at all levels who want to use email marketing to drive business. Simms Jenkins does a great job of thoroughly explaining what can feel like a very complex and intimidating area of expertise. It's easy to read and easy to incorporate into your day-to-day marketing efforts.

This book is very easy to read without too much unexplained industry jargon to make your eyes glaze over. It's informative and chalk full of useful data. However, it's not a tome full of pages of fluff - just the facts and extracted data to get a good intro to the business or a primer for a veteran.

I am a bit dissapointed about about this book. I hoped for more technical advise how to write good e-mails. More do's and don'ts but this book is mainly about how to convice an organisation that e-mail marketing is important. First chapters only keep saying it is underestimated...
