Programming in C++ can be difficult, especially for beginners. This book does an excellent job of describing basic programming concepts from a gamers’ perspective. People who are truly motivated in learning how to program games stand to learn a lot. The only drawback is it does not cover any graphic design concepts such as collision detection or game physics. All of the programs created here will be ran in a command environment and be very unappealing in terms of design.
