"Outdated and Difficult to Follow" - by Slavik on 02-JUL-2013

I found this book difficult to follow.
They jump from one topic to another, without completely finishing the thought.
They don't provide sufficient details for readers to follow along.  Instead, they just casually drop "out of scope for this book".

My goal picking up this book was to learn how to stage a sample Ruby on Rails application on AWS and scale it.  After struggling through Chapters 1 and 2, I'm giving up and will use something else.

"One of the most confusing books ever" - by Kingsley on 27-APR-2013

This book is lacking in context and detail to the point that it is useful neither as a reference nor a tutorial. If anything it seems to be an advertising vehicle for its authors' websites, transcribed and hastily fleshed out from their project implementation notes.
