Getting location is easy. Mobile devices have GPS and standard APIs that quickly give developers access to coordinates. But what do you do with that data next? How should you store and query location data? Open formats like GeoJSON combined with data stores like CouchDB are making development of location based applications easier then ever before. Using NodeJS and CouchDB you can store location data, and perform complex queries on that data quickly.

"Not really a "Getting started" book" - by pandp on 19-SEP-2011

The title is misleading in setting the expectation that the book will lead the user step by step. A lot of instructions are missing and left to the user to discover via trial and error. Overall frustrating and not something I would recommend as a introduction to any of the technologies involved.
