This book deals with client-side only, but does it well, giving you real world examples. Also, for a server-side developer looking to add OAuth to your service, this book shows you what other services have done.  A good and easy read. Could use an update, though, now that spec is finalized.

This book is a very good getting-started guide for OAuth2 in general and OpenID Connect in specific. The presence of working examples and links to the various working sample resources spread across the web, like Googles OAuth playground etc are very useful.

I am giving it a four star, as the OpenID section could have been a little better if there were flow diagrams representing the sequence flows. I found it hard to visualize initially bcos of this and then googled and found some workflow diagrams which made it a little easier to understand. may be the next revision of this book could fix this.
