This book is a good overview of Node.js and the Node ecosystem. The author provides detailed information about node and many helpful sidebars that expand on the subjects at hand.

This book's downfall is that it is very difficult to follow along with the examples. At several points, the author builds a small application and then expands upon it over several chapters. The examples have multiple errors and inconsistencies. It is difficult to tell if you should create new files for each example or what those files should be named. I was unable to get the Stylus CSS templating working based off the text alone.
