This is not a book for a peson new to programming. So if PHP is your first programming language this is not the book for you.
Chapter 6 (objects) is especially bad. Concepts are cluttered together and explanation is poor. Language and examples are very manual like.
In a nutshell its better to read the PHP manual online for free than reading this book.
