Randal is great, but can't see slides to follow along. It would be great is O'Reily would have the slides so we can view. I wish, when they were editing this, that they spent more time on the slides while Randal was talking. Oh well, I still enjoy this video, and appreciate Randal's corny humor.
P.S. I really like how he discusses the "real world" of programming and tells you what you may see out there if you are reading others code.

Excellent introduction video to Perl 5, I would recommend this to my friends.
Introduction videos on regular expressions is the best I have seen so far in the regex world. Especially the way he explains greediness factor of regex; a very important basic information that everyone must know before using a regex.
The intro to sort built-in function is very clear and descriptive, excellent!.
