But they're in store for a special lesson. Using Dr. Moro's virtual reality machine to travel inside the human body, they'll get a close-up look at the fascinating world of molecular biology.

Join them in The Manga Guide to Molecular Biology , and learn all about DNA, RNA, proteins, amino acids, and more. Along the way, you'll see chemical reactions first-hand and meet entertaining characters like Enzyme Man and Drinkzilla, who show how the liver metabolizes alcohol.

Together with Ami and Rin, you'll learn all about:

  • The organelles and proteins inside cells, and how they support cellular functions

  • The processes of transcription and translation, and your genes' role in synthesizing proteins

"Nice book, terrible formatting" - by Stephanie on 22-JAN-2013

I really liked reading this book, but the formatting is really terrible. I used credits to download it, hoping that it would be different on my local machine, but it is frequently missing letters in the dialogue- any time there are two capital letters together, they are usually missing. For instance, 'RUNNING' would be 'RU  ING'. OK sometimes, but sometimes it can get really confusing as it's a learning tool, not just a manga. Great book, but you might be happier with a print copy from your local library. Five stars for content, one star for formatting averages out to a 3/5. Don't waste your credits on a download- if you're really interested, browse through it on Safari and pick up a copy at your local library.
