Bio Page

If you or your staff possess a tremendous amount of industry experience, or you have personal experience that you feel helps to sell your products or services, consider adding a bio page. A bio (short for “biography”) page shares the professional, educational, and/or military background of the key individuals at the company. It can build great trust and credibility in the employees of the company, especially when personal service and expertise are critical to the sale, and are most commonly found on Web sites that sell services.

A bio page should have one—but no more than ten—bios of key staff members. These could include any (or all) of the following:

» The business owner

» Executives

» Managers

» Customer service personnel

» Key talent (such as graphic designers, star lawyers, architects, doctors, etc.)
