Very comprehensive, very accurate, nice and basic show-and-click book. This isn't a style guide at all, and doesn't claim to be, this is just about what RH 8 does. It is also good in that it doesn't keep (ever?) referring back to previous versions as if I was conversant with them.

Essentials of Adobe RoboHelp 8 HTML is written so well anyone can follow the lesions to learn RoboHelp 8. This is the second book I have purchased written by Kevin Siegel and now I have bought another one for learning Captivate 4Adobe Captivate 4: The Essentials.

He writes step by step modules and the book comes with a CD composed of data files to work with. Additionally, he has updated files on a server for download. I used his book RoboHelp 3 to learn it several years ago and now that it's up to number 8, so I decided to learn the newest release. If you follow through the book doing the work, in no time you will be able to produce your own Adober RoboHelpr creations.
I write user guides for proprietary software, and I aspire to write like he does.
