4 Chapter 4. VIPA with dynamic routing This chapter introduces and provides implementation examples for using dynamic routing in a IBM z/OS Communications Server environment. The dynamic routing protocols supported in z/OS Communications Server are Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and Routing Information Protocol (RIP), which are implemented in OMPROUTE. This chapter focuses on OSPF as the suggested dynamic routing protocol for z/OS Communications Server.
