11 Chapter 11. Miscellaneous and tools This chapter describes miscellaneous changes made to recent releases of z/OS and OS/390 to assist in reducing the need for planned outages and extend the requirement between times of IPLs. It also highlights and products that we have found to be very useful, and incudes a brief discussion of systems management considerations.
