4 Chapter 4. Enterprise integration In this chapter, we look at TXSeries from an integration perspective. We describe how TXSeries can access different enterprise systems, and how it can be accessed from both the most used different client and server systems. It is important to keep in mind that TXSeries, like every Customer Information Control System (CICS) server, is able to access the CICS host naturally because of the Inter System Communication (ISC) facilities that are a part of CICS itself. © Copyright IBM Corp. 2006.
