6.3 Using BMC PATROL for iSeries - Predict The models that were created on the System i are now accessible to your PC. You can work on the models from your PC without connecting to the System i, unless you need to create a new model. 6.3.1 Start BMC PATROL for iSeries - Predict on the PC A component of BMC PATROL for iSeries - Predict code is installed on the PC workstation: 1. Before you start working with the BMC PATROL for iSeries - Predict on the PC workstation, ensure that you have a valid BMC Product Control File included in the directory: C:\Program Files\BMC Software\Patrol3\BEST1\NTC\local\setup 2. The first time you run PATROL Central, click Programs BMC PATROL Perform PATROL Central. When the PATROL Central window appears, click PATROL Central on the menu bar; select Add Console Module. In the next window, select PATROL-Predict followed by the Add button. Finally close the Add Console Module dialog (Figure 6-21).
