3.6: Starting and stopping the servers > Stopping the servers - Pg. 68

From the First steps Console, select the Start Everyplace Deployment option. From a command prompt using the application server's startServer command. Sample command: WAS_ROOT/profiles/default/bin/startServer.bat serverName Where serverName can be any of the application server names like coreServices, DMS_AppServer, or IBMDB2eServer and so on Note: You should start the coreServices server prior to starting the DMS_AppServer or IBMDB2eServer. Important: The servers are not started automatically when you reboot the operating system. Because the coreServices server must be started before the Device Management and DB2 Everyplace application servers, creating Windows services to automatically start each application server is not recommended. 3.6.3 Stopping the servers
