A best practice is a technique that is considered the industry standard best and most efficient way of performing a particular task. In computer terms, a best practice is generally used to describe the best configuration or best method of performing specific computer tasks. Properly Size the VM Server Farm

Sizing is a very important part of setting up the virtualized environment. An undersized VM Server farm can cause many problems that are difficult to solve without either sacrificing performance or purchasing more hardware. When configuring the VM Server farm, perform a thorough sizing, keeping in mind the growth of systems that will be experienced in the next three to five years. A properly sized system helps avoid a number of problems later on.
