Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control

Oracle Enterprise Manager (known as OEM) is an Oracle premier tool to monitor and manage the enterprise grid and the applications that reside on it. OEM is a scalable, high-performance application that resides throughout the enterprise, providing information to a central repository that monitors these systems, sending alerts and initiating corrective action as necessary. OEM is now in its second generation with the newly released OEM 11g.

OEM provides graphical monitoring, dashboards, and root-cause analysis. Using the add-on packs, OEM can analyze all layers of an application, offering complete monitoring of the application stack. This gives you quick problem resolution and diagnostics. In addition, OEM sends alerts and takes corrective action.
