Using the DoD Architecture Framework’s abundant definition of DoDAF-described models (views), we have presented a number of examples that illustrate how architecture representations can be built using a technique that is standardized across the enterprise. It is important to realize that the DODAF model set presented here is not comprehensive in depicting all possible models or all possible viewpoints. For example, the OMB’s management and budget viewpoint requires the building of artifacts such as the A-11, Exhibit 300, which may be deemed to be models in their own right.
