Example: Passenger Identification SvcV-3

The SvcV-3a shown in Table 3.7-1 depicts current interfaces between systems and services as well as the planned interfaces. We notice clearly the planned transition of all systems to a single, consistent identifyPassenger service that will eliminate the inconsistencies, ambiguities, and inaccuracies that are evident in the current multiplicity of independent interfaces to independent services. We show the timeframe for the migration that is implied inside the SvcV-3a in the SvcV-8 Systems Evolution Description. The advantage of each of these models is that they elaborate some aspect of the architecture, but each model adds a different dimension for a different audience. Without integration, the models would very quickly become inconsistent.
