Consolidation Rules

Aggregation is the process of taking the data from one entity and adding it to the data of another to get a value for the parent. Consolidation can involve intercompany data, ownership percentages, different types of consolidation, and so on. In HFM, this process is so much more than just adding up the numbers. Consolidation is accounting for the relationships between legal entities, and HFM does this very well.
