Life Cycle Management
Life Cycle Management allows you to migrate application components called artifacts from one application to another and from one environment to another. Most commonly people group the LCM tasks into eight task groups:
Explore and Search Artifacts The LCM tool provides an interface to explore, view, search, migrate, export, and import artifacts. The application and repository artifacts are grouped into categories so they are easy to filter through.
Migrating Security The LCM Console enables you to bulk-export users, groups, roles, delegated lists, and assigned roles.
Migrating Individual Artifacts or Dimensions The LCM Console functionality allows the administrator to select a single artifact or dimension for export and import.
