Conclusion

Not every project goes well. In fact, if I am ever on a project without any issues, I will be writing a book about just that experience alone. You and everyone else will have issues. The true measure of the implementation team is how they handle these issues. Do they panic and over-react? Do they throw resources at it without thinking? Or do they manage the communication, and work patiently and stay focused to find the right solution? People who do the latter are much more likely to be successful.
