Company Profile

The company is well known, mostly for their explosive growth over the past ten years. As with many companies in the Silicon Valley, their fortunes change quickly with new technologies and competition. Five years ago, AEG launched a tremendously successful cell phone product that swept through the market. This has allowed them to expand into other products and software. Before the project began, AEG announced a major acquisition of a competing software company that offered competing cell phone technology. This acquisition highlighted the fact that AEG was not ready to handle another acquisition of this size.

Success has brought good and bad results to the company. It has grown so quickly that the processes for closing that work for a small company don’t work any more, and are filled with risk.
