In order to help you understand this process, I will provide examples highlighting each of these steps. This first example of a RIP was created within an asphalt company having about $25 million in annual revenues and roughly 150 employees. The company’s core business is producing and laying asphalt for parking lots and other areas, as well as doing some roadwork and repairs.
