Another popular application on Facebook that had a similar impact on encour- aging my circle of friends to share was the "Where should you be living?" quiz. The quiz asks the user seven different questions, such as "What do you do to relax?" and then gives you four choices for your answer. The quiz is easy to take, programming such a quiz is relatively simple, sharing and discussing the results are fun for the users, and, of course, the application encourages members of Facebook to share their stories with each other in order to increase their sense of belonging. What's more, this "quiz" technique can be adapted easily to use in listserv communities, chat forums, and other Web sites (Figure 6.8).
