This hour begins work on the first stage of a sample game that will demonstrate all the concepts covered up to this point in the book. The first stage of the game will see the game screens developed and displayed based on the current state, as well as early state-based behaviors for gameplay objects. The game is an interesting take on the space theme we’ve been using all along. There will be a black hole and gameplay will revolve around it—literally!
