• How to Interact with Android
This book covers two models of the Galaxy Tab: the original Tab with a 7" screen and a larger version with a 10" screen.
The 7" unit, called the Galaxy Tab 7.0, runs version 2.2 of Google’s Android operating system, also called Froyo.
The 10" unit, called the Galaxy Tab 10.1, runs Android version 3.1, which is also called Honeycomb.
One other crucial difference is that the Tab 7.0 connects through Wi-Fi or through a number of cell phone carriers; the Tab 10.1 connects through Wi-Fi or Verizon Wireless.
