Creating Your Own Playlists (Galaxy Tab 10")

Playlists are a great way to create a compilation of your favorite songs for playback on your Galaxy Tab. Use playlists as an opportunity to organize the best songs from your favorite artists, acoustic selections, party music, classic rock, orchestral masterpieces, relaxation tracks, and more.

1. Depending on which Galaxy Tab model or cellular carrier you use, you’ll find the shortcut to the music player on the main home screen or in the Applications menu. Tap the Music shortcut on your Tab.

2. The music player categorizes your music library into six categories: New and Recent, Albums, Artists, Songs, Playlists, and Genres. Tap the Playlists tab to choose a song for playback, and then tap the plus icon to create a new playlist.

3. Type a name for the new playlist, and then tap OK.

4. The playlist appears in the Playlists screen.

5. Tap Playlists, and then tap Songs in the menu.

6. Tap the right triangle at the right side of the song in the list.

7. Tap Add to Playlist.

8. Select the playlist to which you want to add the song. The Music app adds the song to the playlist. If you create a new playlist, you must type the new playlist name and tap OK to create it.

9. Tap Songs, and then tap Playlists.

10. Tap the playlist on the screen.

11. Tap the song in the list to play it.
