As you would probably expect, the Calendar app is designed to help you keep track of your daily activities. In addition, this app can be used to create and manage meetings in much the same way as you can using Outlook 2010.
The calendar is accessible directly from the Start screen. You can access the calendar by pressing the Start button and tapping the Calendar tile. The Calendar live tile displays the next appointment on your phone’s Start screen.
The calendar is also accessible through the App list by taking the following steps:
1. Press the Start button.
2. Flick the arrow icon to access the App list.
3. Tap Calendar.
The Calendar opens to Agenda view, unless there are no appointments, in which case it opens to Day view. These views are similar, but the Agenda view only displays your appointments for today, whereas Day view allows you to look at the appointments for the next few days.
